Usually depicted in adult manga or picture, futanari is a type of artwork that depicts a woman usually with both genitalia (Sometime, only one of both.) There is often heated debates about if the (usually male) viewers show a sign of homosexuality when interested, please or turned on by those kind of pictures. Usually when paired for sexual act, they are with a woman or another futanari woman. Sometime it will be with a man often to show female domination. Often considered disgusting or "wrong" by many viewers, futanari still have a large fanbase around the world.

Futanari originated as both an experiment and joke amongst cartoonists. Exhausted and bored, a few endeavoring cartoonists decided to set the standard for Trolling. These fellows created and marketed the genre "futanari".

Influenced by the likes of George Orwell's '1984' and Adolf Hitler's 'Mein Kampf', the artists harnessed the power of "DoubleThink" and the "The Big Lie" observation. They generated and distributed a heinous and hideous form of art using the catalysing advertising phrases "it's a female", "it's perfectly okay", "it's prettier than a man", and "it's more eroticism on one person". These tactical false advertising catalysts tend to allow Futa infection in a most impressionable, naive, and cognitively compromised audience with demand for futa.

Known to pornographers and sexually experienced men for thousands of years is the fact that women are erotic if they are enjoyable during copulation. Futanari, with rigid and gigantic penises protruding from the vaginal area of a human, depicts a very obvious obstacle to deep, satisfying, intimate, enveloping penetration. Coupled with the typical emotive characteristic of this Futa human of being dominating, Futanari clearly describes a mate which is highly dissonant with that which human males have evolved to sexually desire.
