| Prostate massage
Prostate massage or Prostate milking is the massage or stimulation of the male prostate gland for sexual stimulation or medical purposes. The prostate takes part in the sexual response cycle, and is essential for ejaculation. Due to its proximity to the anterior rectal wall, it can be stimulated from the anterior wall of the rectum or externally via the perineum.
Medical uses
Digital rectal examination (DRE)
Prostate massage is part of the digital rectal examination (DRE) routinely given to men by urologists in order to look for nodules of prostate cancer and to obtain an expressed prostatic secretion (EPS) specimen for microscopy and microbiological culture to screen for prostatitis.
Prostatitis
In the late 1990s, doctors tried prostate massage in conjunction with antibiotics for the treatment of chronic bacterial prostatitis with uncertain results. In recent trials, however, prostate massage was not shown to improve outcomes compared to antibiotics alone. As a consequence of these findings, prostate massage is not used in the treatment of any medical disorder today[citation needed], and prostate massage should never be performed on patients with acute prostatitis, because the infection can spread elsewhere in the body if massage is performed.
Risks
Vigorous prostate massage has been documented with consequences that are health and life threatening: periprostatic hemorrhage,[5] cellulitis, septicaemia, possible disturbance and metastasis of prostate cancer to other parts of the body, and hemorrhoidal flare-up.
Electroejaculation
Electroejaculation is a procedure in which nerves are stimulated via an electric probe, which is inserted into the rectum adjacent to the prostate. It is most commonly encountered in animal husbandry for the purpose of collecting semen samples for testing or breeding.
Prostate massage as alternative therapy
Prostate massage was once the most popular therapeutic maneuver used to treat prostatitis. According to the Prostatitis Foundation, "it used to be, in the age before antibiotics (before about 1960 for prostatitis), doctors performed massage when their patients had prostatitis. In some cases it was enough to cure them of the disease. ... it fell out of common practice with the advent of antibiotics. It's much easier to prescribe a pill and send the patient home." However, according to WebMD, in many prostatitis cases antibiotics do not work because the swelling and inflammation caused by the infection closes off the acini (or sacs), causing the acini not to "shed" bacteria, and protecting the bacteria inside from antibiotics and the body's own immune cells.
Continuing research in emerging medical communities, published articles in non-medical circles, and anecdotal evidence on the Internet shows that there is still interest in the technique as alternative therapy.
In China, a 2008 survey of 627 urologists found that prostate massage is used prevalently as a nonpharmacological therapy for chronic prostatitis.

| The male hot spot
While anal play may be considered kinky and somewhat taboo, it's a sexual practice that more than a few men and women, regardless of sexual orientation, enjoy. In men, this potent pleasure point is the prostate, which is found inside their anal canal. The prostate's primary function, however, is to aid in reproduction. It does this by secreting a fluid into semen before ejaculation occurs, helping with sperm mobility and prolonging the life of the sperm once it leaves the penis.
Before anal play, it can be helpful for your partner to urinate and/or have a bowel movement before you begin. You can cut and file smooth your fingernails as well, so that there are no rough or jagged edges. Relaxation is also important, minimizing or preventing the possibility of tearing the thin lining of the rectum, and setting the stage for pleasure. Some people relax by taking a warm bath. Others begin by sensuously massaging their partner's body, slowly leading to the butt and inner thighs, using or adding massage oil or lubricant. For safer anal play, you can wear a latex glove with a dab of water-based lubricant on it.
When you are both ready, you can begin massaging your partner's prostate externally. Using your index and middle fingertips, you can touch, rub, stroke, or press his perineum (the area of skin from underneath his testicles to his anus), trying various sensations and pressures. Using your other hand, you can stroke other parts of his body for additional arousal. This is the beginning of the massage, so encourage your partner to communicate with you about what feels good to him.
As your partner begins to enjoy the sensations, using water-based lube, gradually insert your finger(s) into his anus. You may both need to experiment with various positions that allow for easy access. In the meantime, you can begin with him lying on his back. Insert your finger(s) about an inch or so, and when your partner is comfortable, move your finger(s) in an upward motion along the wall of the rectal lining that faces the front of his body. Try to locate a round bulb of tissue — this is the prostate. Once you locate this area, move your finger(s) in a "come here" motion, as if you were asking someone to move closer to you so that you could whisper a secret. Use your finger pad(s) on the tip(s) of your finger(s) to massage the prostate, and be mindful of not using your nail(s). Ask him what feels good and how he wants to be touched. While you are touching your partner in this way, you can ask if he wants more or less pressure, or slower or faster strokes. You can also ask him if he wants you to touch his penis, testicles, or perineum simultaneously. Some men like oral sex or kissing at the same time, too.
Be aware that receiving anal stimulation may cause feelings of having to go to the bathroom. More often than not, this is just a "feeling" that the stimulation causes and may take some getting used to. If your partner indeed does find pleasure from this experience, it might set him over the edge if you rhythmically or irregularly press on his prostate gland before or during ejaculation. It is even possible for men to orgasm through prostate stimulation alone.
Hopefully, you'll hit the jackpot with this rectal rub. At a minimum, you will be learning together, trusting each other, and having a new experience. For more information, you can refer to Jack Morin's book, Anal Pleasure and Health.

| How To Find and Stimulate the Prostate
The prostate gland is in the middle of the pelvis and produces part of the fluid (called seminal fluid) that comes out when a man ejaculates. You can't touch the prostate directly, but it is possible to stimulate it indirectly both through anal stimulation and external stimulation of the perineum. Some men have enlarged prostates that can cause pain or discomfort when stimulated (this can be the result of a medical condition or of medication one is taking). But for many men the prostate is a wonderful sex organ that provides deep sexual pleasure. It's not particularly accurate, but some people have started calling the prostate the male g-spot. Others have, unfortunately, started referring to it as the P-spot.
Time Required: When you start, take it slow, maybe give yourself an hour to explore and experiment.
Here's How:
Wash up, and relax. Many of us have issues with cleanliness when it comes to exploring anal play. Having a warm bath or hot show may help alleviate anxiety about this. It also helps to relax you, which is an important state to be in for any sex play. Finally, the bath or shower can be a great place to explore. Because feces only travel through the rectum on the way out of the body, you won’t find very much there. If you are concerned about having a bowel movement during prostate stimulation, make sure you go to the bathroom before you begin.
Trim your nails and smooth out the rough edges. The lining of the anus is very sensitive and can be torn easily. If you're playing with sex toys, make sure they are safe for anal penetration. Consider using latex or nitrile gloves. They are a good way to deal with hang nails and small cuts on your hands, plus if you have any concerns about cleanliness they provide a barrier between you and all your bodily fluids.
Turn yourself on. Because the prostate swells when aroused, it’s easier to locate when you’re hot and bothered so watch an adult movie, masturbate, fantasize...whatever gets you in the mood. Unless the scientific approach is a turn on for you, trying to find the prostate in a dispassionate way is neither the best nor more enjoyable approach.
Find a comfortable position. If you are exploring on your own find a sex position you are most comfortable in where you have access to your bum. Try lying on your side, or squatting. Sitting in a comfy chair might work, or lie on your back with your legs in the air. You need a position you’ll be comfortable in for a while. Using pillows is always a good way to get comfortable.
Start on the outside, massage your anus and perineum. You never want to rush the penetration part of anal play. Start with an external massage. The perineum is located between the scrotum and the anus. Many people find that massaging the perineum is relaxing and pleasurable. You probably won't be able to feel the prostate with your fingers while massaging the perineum, but you are actually stimulating it indirectly. Massage the anus using a rhythmic, circular motion. You can gently push on the anus as if you're ringing a doorbell, without forcing your finger inside. This will help relax the anal sphincter.
Go on in. When you are ready to insert a finger in the anus, try to tune into your breath. You can use conscious breathing techniques to deepen your awareness of physical responses. Make sure you have lots of lubricant on hand, literally and figuratively. The best way to insert a finger in the anus is to start with the pad of your finger first (not the tip). Gently put the pad of one finger up to the opening of the anus and leave it there while you breath. When you are exhaling, push out as if you’re trying to go to the bathroom and you should feel your sphincter muscles relax a bit and your finger should be able to slid in. Once inside, rest a moment while you get used to the sensation of having something in your anus.
Find your prostate. You should be able to feel your prostate about two inches in and toward your belly. It is often a walnut-shaped bump. Some men will know when they are touching it, others won’t notice much at all. It can be easier to have someone else find it for you (if you happen to have someone handy!)
Experiment with different kinds of touch. Once you’ve found the prostate you can experiment with what feels good. Some people like the feeling of consistent pressure on the prostate, others prefer vibration, or an on-off kind of pressure. You can also experiment by squeezing your PC muscle and see how that changes the feeling.
Using sex toys. Anal sex toys can be a great way to explore prostate stimulation. Toys that have a slight curve are often designed for prostate stimulation. Some toys will vibrate, which is a completely different kind of sensation that some guys like and others don’t. If you’re going to try a vibrator, be sure to get one with variable speed, so you can start slow if you want to.
Butt plugs are anal toys designed to be inserted in the anus and stay in place. Some guys will put in a butt plug and then have other kinds of sex play (either masturbation or play with partners). Many say that having a butt plug in (which provides a mild but constant prostate stimulation) really changes the way that their orgasms feel.

| Prostate Milking Tips & Techniques
Most men enjoy fingering their prostate while wanking. I find it takes my self pleasure to a higher level, I seem to esc ape into another world as I feel a deep sense of warmth emanating from my prostate and sending spasms of pleasure around my body. I usually begin by lying on my back and pulling my knees towards my chest. Just using the tip of one finger I spend about 20 minutes stimulating my anal sphincters. My arsehole absolutely loves this stimulation before I slowly push my finger into heaven. Lay on your back with your legs spread as wide as possible. Lift up your calves, exposing your gorgeous arse. You can place a pillow under your lower back to raise your arse, to allow easy penetration and full movement. Prostate Milking is easy in this position and entry can be really deep. Everyone’s prostate is small; the average prostate weighs about 25 grams when a man is not erect. During erection the prostate swells and some evidence suggests it can then weigh up to six times more, as ejaculation is anticipated seminal fluid flows in.
When you are sexually aroused the part of your cock that is inside (marked A in the diagram above) presses on your expanding prostate (marked B in the diagram above). You can feel the inner part of your cock when you are aroused by simply running your finger along the ridge between your arsehole and balls, your perineum. You can gently massage this area with one finger circling 81 times to the right, breathing deeply and then 81 times to the left. Then place the tips of your four fingers on your perineum and vibrate your fingers furiously. Then relax for some time, become aware of your breathing, flutter your arse for several minutes, and repeat the exercise, butt this timing bring your circling finger all the way along your perineum directly onto your anal lips. Placing the tips of your fingers and thumb around your anal lips, vibrate furiously for several minutes and relax. Then, sliding a wet finger inside is of course, optional, butt highly recommended.

Prostate Milking Toys, are a great tool for prostate milking, Aneros or Nexus are the best. Avoid toys made by other companies. Remember the internal sphincter muscles within your arse do not allow things to pass through unless you relax and take it sensually. I kind of tease my arse with the aneros. !/4 inch insertion then completely push the device out. With a lubed finger then sensually massage your arse ring in circular motions at least 81 times. The as you breathe in insert the aneros a further 1/4 inch, hold your breather and then as you exhale push the device completely out again. Repeat the arse hole massage ritual and continue 1/4 by 1/4 inch until the device is fully inserted. Once the aneros is fully inserted relax, Relax for 10 – 15 minutes for your arse to become accustomed to the aneros. Try placing your hand on your stomach and breath in deeply, slightly squeezing your buttocks together as you inhale. Slowly exhale feeling your stomach and buttocks relax, gradually increasing the intensity. Use your free hand to message other erogenous areas, e.g. the scalp, the forehead, the area just below the throat, just below the chest, the inner thighs or the rear calf muscles. Sensually contract the anal sphincter, taking 8 to 15 seconds to maximum contraction, hold for a few seconds, and then relax the muscles for a further 8 – 15 seconds. Breathing should be synchronized with this anal sphincter exercise. Inhale deeply as you contract the muscles and exhale as you relax. Repeat this process up to 81 times. Everyman should milk his prostate for immense pleasure and amazing ejaculations. Some men reject prostate milking as they fear it might “turn them into a homosexual. So what if it does. It might be the best thing that ever happened to him.
Prostate milking is best for most men when combined with cock stimulation. The more aroused you are, the more swollen and pronounced the prostate will be, making it easier to locate and stimulate with your finger.
